Fortune and the tree of life

by utopia22 @ 2008-09-30 - 10:41:04 pm

Good fortune comes to you like sunlight and rainfall to a tree. Imagine, a large tree grows from a seed which germinates and grows in the exact spot that it fell. Ideally it would be nice if the tree could seek out the best nutrients and the most favorable weather; but it can't. It just sits there and somehow seems to survive and grow. All the requirements of the tree necessary for its survival seem to find it just where it is. Where it always has been, at the exact spot where the seed germinated. This may have a lesson to teach us. Like the tree most (if not all) of the resources that we need to solve those little puzzles of life are right in front of us, or at least not too far away. We only need to look for them. Quite often you will find that the means of solving most of life's challenges are within your abilities. After all if they were not there from the start we would never have reached as far as we have. You may not know it but you are really the right person for the task in hand. You will only find the things that you are searching for.

The thought bridge

by utopia22 @ 2008-09-28 - 11:47:39 pm

The thought bridge is not a new concept, but it is frequently ignored. The concept stems from the fact that all tangible objects (including ourselves) started with thought. If you conceive of an idea you are creating a bridge from the thought to the finished product. Some may say from the present to the future. It is best not to think of time in relation to thought because it actually does not exist it only just seems so. The thought bridge is immediate and occurs the moment the thought is conceived; in fact it was always there, you just happened to tap into it. But what of that? By tapping into it you have made a connection and hence created a bridge.
So try not to be interrupted while you are building those bridges. Ignore all interruptions. Remember the thought occupying the moment is the correct one. Intervening ideas or people will have to take second place and in fact in most (all) cases they are completely irrelevant. The correct thought is like a transaction at the bank. It has one name on it, one destination and serves a unique purpose. You don't write blank cheques, and certainly you don't enter the incorrect name or the amount unless you have made a (serious) mistake, which invariably you discover after you have made the mistake. (See blog "Don't turn back"). So let's get going. Let's build some bridges.

ripples in the pond

Be forward looking and forward thinking. Your thoughts stream as if fluid and flow continuously in forward motion. Each thought seems to occupy an empty void as if moving on a path of its own. It enters this void and almost seems alone in this empty space. Our actions follow our thoughts almost in robotic procession. They seem to occupy a moment in time and then become a part of history. Our thoughts and hence our actions occupy a template or matrix that is inhabited by the thoughts and ideas of all of humanity. We all share this space and recreate it from instant to instant like a body of water or a wave in the ocean that moves as a single entity even if for a moment as it constantly changes shape. Meaningful behavior is preceded by a natural process where the preceding thought is a natural part of this large amorphous template. We constantly unconsciously recreate this matrix and change it by our collective thoughts and ideas. It is an unmistakable truth that our thoughts affect all of us at several levels both spiritual and mental and physical. Regardless of your geographic location you are having an influence at all times on all of humanity.Every thought that you have influences for good or for ill. That amorphous void that your thoughts occupy even fleetingly can be altered in an instant and this allows each of us to leave an indelible mark in this universe.
Keep thinking constructive thoughts and good things will follow, not only for yourself but for all of us.
