You should try not to be afraid. Do not keep fears alive in your head. They are like an unwelcomed guest or a delinquent tenant. They are occupying space without contributing to their keep. They are incapable of paying you back for the time and space that they have inhabited because they do not really exist; except, and this is the important part unless you give them life. If you think about them you are giving them life. They will stay alive as long as you think and talk about them and they will die and disappear forever the moment that you remove them from your consciousness. It’s as simple as that! So don't worry about going broke, don't worry about financial ups and downs, don’t worry about getting ill and let tomorrow take care of itself. We can only understand how powerful the mind is when we use it to do positive things; but this is just the beginning. The mind can become as powerful as you want it to be by thinking positive thoughts to the exclusion of all others. You should not allow even the slightest doubt or negative idea to linger in your mind, even if you are fairly positive most of the time. If you think that this is impractical, try this exercise. Do a quick audit of your daily thought content and liken the exercise to lighting several candles one at a time to illuminate a dark room. Once you have eliminated all the dark corners of the room, all you have to do is to change the candles for a brighter light.
