It is sometimes called the domino effect. It is a cascade of unpredictable events that seem to occur in unison and occupy a particular point in time. Sometimes the result is a life-changing event and at other times the events are trivial and of little consequence. These events all tend to be very similar. They may be described lightly as bloops and blunders and seem to be contagious and may even be laughable. Quite often you just count these little events and wait until they are over. There is a phase of existence a point in time when you can identify a pattern of events that seem all to bear the same identity almost as if coloured by a ray of light. At other times there is one unique incident that portends great hardship and signals the start of change. It seems to be the herald of like happenings to follow; and in some cultures is even called an omen. There is even the situation of the group effect where individuals who share the same group or who form part of a firm or family are often enveloped in the cloud of cyclical events that affect one individual from that group and gradually spread like a contagion within that group. Interestingly it also seems to be the fate of nations. Sometimes a nation that appears to stand tall and has had the fortune over time of avoiding significant catastrophe has an encounter with misfortune and that event marks the start of a cascade of ill luck that continues until the contagion is expunged from the system and the nation once again resumes its forward course. It is important to recognize these moments since they do arise without warning and cannot be avoided. The recognition of this phenomenon allows one to apply the same approach and solution to resolving these situations because they are very similar and can be treated in the same manner. An encouraging observation though is that the cyclical nature of the universe always provides opportunity to rebuild all that has been altered and often with new life and improved vitality.
